Coming to the question, the initial cutoff is a common one and not a differentiated cutoff for Delhi and Kolkata campuses. Post this you will go through a common GDPI What Process. Its only after the GDPI What that the scores are consolidated that a Rank List is compiled and a seperate cutoff is released for Delhi and Kolkata campuses. This is where Campus preference also comes into play, top ranks are alloted Delhi campus but if you preferred Kolkata even with a high rank then you will get it. The reverse is not true though. Allotment to Delhi campus is solely based on the final rank.

According to me, CAT is tough when compared with IIFT. CAT is a well-known, most rated exam for management studies in different IIMs.
