- Enhance the quality of your English language, and study three new words every day.
- To improve your vocabulary and grammar, be sure to read the newspaper for at least 45 minutes daily.
- Start your preparation by allotting a specific amount of time to each topic and finishing them all on time.

In IPMAT candidates are provided with a rough sheet or a scribble pad for rough work and calculations. This is done to enable candidates to solve formula-based questions and other numerical problems. Candidates are not allowed to carry any page or sheet of paper with them into the examination hall. The national level test is a gateway for admission to the five-year Integrated programme in Management offered at IIM Indore. IPMAT syllabus comprises the following topics.
1. Quantitative Ability- MCQ : 40 questions
2. Quantitative Ability- SA : 20 questions
3. Verbal Ability : 40 questions
While the UGAT syllabus comprises the following topics
1. English Language : 40 questions
2. Numerical and Data Analysis : 30 questions
3. Reasoning and General Intelligence : 30 questions
4. General Knowledge : 30 questions
So from above QA, Verbal ability are the common for both exams but Reasoning and General Intelligence and General Knowledge are the additional in UGAT. So you can prepare for both exams in the same time but needs extra attention for Reasoning and General Inte
