How to Prepare for IPU CET 2018: Important preparation tips:
Study Plan:
Before starting your exam preparation, create a study plan for your preparation. Divide your time equally for all the sections as per your course. Gather all the information about the official syllabus. Research about the study materials you are going to use for better exam preparations. Try to attempt Mathematics questions using shortcut methods. Time Management:
For exam preparations, you need to focus on studies and manage your time. Make a proper time-table and prepare accordingly. Study for at least five to six hours a day. Add some time for breaks and other activities which can help you to refresh. Study Materials & Previous Year Question Papers:
Practice only from those books which almost cover the entire syllabus of the exam. Students can also prefer NCERT books for preparations. Also, solve the previous year question papers and compare your answers with the given solved papers. It will help you to understand your mistakes and difficult areas and after that, you can work on it. Mock Tests:
You should practice mock tests daily and while solving the questions always keep in mind that you have only some limited time to solve the mock test. This will help you to score good marks in the examination. By practising the mock test, you can understand the exam pattern and accordingly manage your time to solve the question. Maintain Health:
Stay away from physical and mental stress and keep a positive attitude towards the preparations. You should take hygienic, balanced and timely diet plan. Sleep for at least seven to eight hours daily. Do exercise, sports, meditation and yoga to stay healthy and calm.

The university has all the rights to cancel or drop any examination centre from the list on the ground of the basis of the insufficient number of students appearing in the test. In case, if both preferred exam centres selected by the candidate are cancelled, then Delhi centre will be allotted to such candidates. If the exam centre chosen by the candidate is not available the university will finally decide and allocate the examination centre to the candidates as per its own choice.

The key areas that you need to focus on are:
1. Reading habit:
So, it would include the reading of at least 4 national dailies and keeping par with the news related to the economy, international developments, and society. You must also read related magazines and about the most influential people in this field.
2. Writing skills:
Writing skills are utmost important for this field. You can practice by writing small notes on the articles you read and by developing your opinion and perception.
3. Study topics:
There are various fields of journalism like Advertising, film-making, Public Relations, Event Management, Radio, Photojournalism, etc., so one should have a fair idea of the syllabus and themes that are pivotal to these subjects.
4. Analytical and Comprehensive skills:
Many institutions test their students on the basis of reasoning ability, analytical and comprehensive skills. You must give attention to this area for this you may go for the previous year question papers.
