No! IIT JAM is a test conducted for MSc course admissions at IITs and NITs. Since IIT does not provide an MSc in Botany course, IIT JAM exam scores are not accepted for admission to MSc Botany.

IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Tirupati are the only MSc Statistics colleges in India that accept IIT JAM exam scores. You can check the table below to get more details:

There are plenty of colleges, other than IITs, that accept IIT JAM exam scores to offer admission for MSc Physics course, here are some of them:

- NIT Trichy

No, IIT JAM is conducted once a year for postgraduate programs such as Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Mathematical Science, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, etc. The exam was last conducted on Feb 11, 2024.

IIT Bombay JAM cutoff 2024 for Round 2 has been released across multiple specialsiations. Based on Round 2 cutoff, MSc in Applied Geology turned out to be the most competitive specialsiation with a closing rank of 16 for the General AII India category. IIT Bombay MSc in Applied Geology cutoff 2024 for Round 1 was also stood at 16. So, considering both the rounds, candidates securing a rank of 50 in IIT JAM will not be elible for admission to Applied Geology course at IIT Bombay.
However, candidates can get IIT Roorkee for admission to MSc in Applied Geology course with Round 2 closing rank of 52 for the General AII India category

The eligibility requirements for IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) did not involve a minimum percentage or marks in Class 12 for the majority of participating institutes. The eligibility criteria for IIT JAM are largely concerned with the bachelor's degree and the minimum marks or CGPA necessary to secure in that degree.
Candidates for the IIT JAM must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55 per cent aggregate or 5.5 CGPA/CPI.
