I would suggest you to go for IIT JAM study materials. You will get all the preparation stuff you need including unit wise notes and questions, important topics, previous year papers and many more. Here http://bit.ly/2ICKyE9 you can check who provides the best study materials for IIT JAM preparation. You will get these study materials at a very low price. So, it's better to buy them instead of books. Best of Luck.

Admission into Masters Courses in IIT solely depends on your JAM performance.
Your graduation grades don't play any such role there.

Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in any of Physics, Biological Sciences, BA MS, BHMS, BPT and any other related discipline, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% to get eligible for the course. Admission to the course is based on the candidate's performance in the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM). It varies for every college.

First of all, you need to know the IIT JAM SYLLABUS & exam pattern. As early as you know syllabus and exams pattern, you can start preparing a few months before exams. You don't need to cover the whole syllabus. But whatever she is good at, you should study those things very well and clear all the doubts and concepts of that topic. As far as my concern I had studied everything except electronics and statistical mechanics ( because in my personal opinion I found it boring). I had studied only some of the specific topics of electronics. You should try more and more questions. You can solve at least the previous 5 years question pape
