Nowadays, Java is included in first course of computer programmer languages in majority of engineering colleges syllabus in first year of B.Tech C(SE).

No, as you are going to learn basics of engineering in the first year but after that, (in second year-third year) you can join these courses.

Hello Muhammad,
It's good to know that you had CS in 12th. Normally, in a good sized city, there are courses small or big conducted for students like you. Go to that Institute and join a course for Java or some language. Then you can do 2nd course also in another programming language.

All engineering students, irrespective of branch are either taught C of C+. Java language is included in CSE and IT syllabus.

Basic Programming was earlier teaching language for a beginner but it is no longer the first choice for any beginner. You are advised to start you first lessons on Programmming by learning C or C++ Programming language.
