the hostel mess at Jayalakshmi Institute of Technology in provides hot hygienic and vegetarian food to the students in a clean dining environment. It's because many students think it tastes good and is good for them — at least in the first year. But some reviews note a decline in quality in recent years. In general the mess is OK, food is ok, with fair variety and cleanliness is regular.
