JIIT is a good institute for engineering but here the demanding branch is CSE. But, you can continue with ECE.

Yes placement is same. In-fact you are going to sit with Noida students only for placement. But there is this rumour that Noida's students get some preferences but I don't know whether it's true.

Jaypee waknaghat is one of top engineering colleges of Himachal Pradesh after IIT and NIT in state. and has been ranked 37 among Universities in India by MHRD Govt of India. JUIT have a good placement record and have lush green 25 acre campus.
