Yes, it is possible to obtain but is very difficult. And it is not possible to obtain a major of your choice
If you have higher board marks, the chances are that much more.

Since you haven't scored well in JEE mains so you will not get admission in Government institutes.Although there are private institutions that are doing equally good as them,you may get admission in them by scoring a good rank in their entrance examination and thereafter getting high scholarship.some of these universities are:

You didn't mention your state!but even though telling u from my experience u should be getting !maybe u have to go away from Ur town but u will get !maybe u have to compromise Ur field !if u r looking for Mech. either u will be good !so don't worry & all the best
