Hi Himanshu. MNNIT considers students on account of JEE score. It is one of the very good institutes.
Now coming to non-JEE colleges, you have Bits, indraprastha university, Vellore, Manipal, srm and such good colleges that dont consider JEE score but take their own respective entrance tests. These colleges have best teaching faculties as well. I would not recommend dropping a year. Instead prepare for these. All the best!
