Yes, all candidates of the shift in which a questions is dropped are awarded full marks (+4) irrespective of whether the candidate has attempted the question of not.

Yes, candidates scoring less than JEE Main cutoff can participate in JEE Main counselling. Candidates must note that JEE Main cutoff is meant to shortlist candidates for appearing in JEE Advanced. The admission of candidates in NITs and other particpating institutes is based on All India Rank of candidates in JEE Mains.

No, they are different. JEE Main answer key mentions the correct answer to the questions asked in the exam whereas response sheet is the recorde copy of answers marked by the candidates during the exam. JEE Main answer key and response sheet are released together.

JEE Main response sheet contains recorded answers of questions that you attempted in JEE Main exam. JEE Main answer key is also released. Download JEE Main 2025 response sheet by logging into the official website. Response sheet shows the actual answers submitted by you in exam, which can be compared with official answer key. This way, you can calculate estimated score. It includes answers marked in the exam (both correct and incorrect) and the option selected for each question. Access your response sheets from the official JEE Main portal and use it to cross-check performance before official results are announced.

While the level of the NEET and JEE Main is same, as both the exams are of undergraduate level and the syllabus is that of Class 11 and Class 12, the difficulty level of JEE Main is higher than that of NEET. Although both the exams are tough and highly competitive in their own rights, the exam pattern and syllabus are different. Physics and Chemistry are common subjects, and Mathematics and Biology are covered in JEE Main and NEET respectively. JEE Main exams have negative marks for MCQ questions and no negative marks for numerical questions. The exam pattern has total 75 questions. It includes subjects based on mathematics, physics and chemistry and 25 questions will be there on each subject and 60 questions are MCQs and 15 are numerical questions. The exam duration is 3 hours and it is computer based exam. Students should prepare the previous year mentioned questions and similar model papers.
