There is no minimum JEE Main rank or percentile required to get admission into B.E. Computer Science Engineering at Chandigarh University. The university does not use JEE scores as an admission criterion, so there is no official cutoff, rank requirement, or percentile threshold you must meet for CSE. Admission to CSE is instead based on the university's own entrance test, CUCET. To secure a seat in Computer Science Engineering, you typically need to pass the CUCET exam, as it is one of the most competitive branches. This is the actual benchmark that determines your admission chances, not your JEE performance. JEE Main rank only be

At Chandigarh University, CUCET carries direct admission weightage, while JEE Main primarily influences scholarship eligibility for B.E. programs. CUCET is designed to evaluate aptitude, subject understanding, and readiness for engineering education. JEE Main scores, on the other hand, are used to award merit-based scholarships under CU's structured slab system. Both routes are officially recognised and lead to the same academic outcomes. This balanced approach ensures flexibility, fairness, and accessibility, allowing students to choose the admission path best aligned with their strengths.

Yes, you can apply to Chandigarh University immediately after JEE Main Phase 1 results for B.E. admissions. CU encourages early applications to help students secure seats and access counselling without delay. Students can submit their Phase 1 JEE scores for scholarship evaluation and later update their application if they appear for Phase 2. Early applicants often benefit from better branch availability and smoother admission processing. Even if you choose to wait for Phase 2, applying early through CUCET keeps your options open. This flexible admission structure allows students to plan confidently without risking their academic year.

A good score in Joint Entrance Examination does not directly increase your chances of admission into emerging engineering fields at Chandigarh University. The university does not use JEE ranks or percentiles as a criterion for allocating seats in any branch, including high-demand or emerging specialisations like AI, Data Science, or Cybersecurity. Admission is primarily based on your performance in CUCET, which remains the key requirement for securing a seat. However, a strong JEE Main score can still provide an indirect advantage. It can make you eligible for higher scholarships, which may reduce your financial burden significant

Yes, students have a decent chance of getting admission in RGPV Bhopal with 80 percentile in JEE Main through DTE MP counselling. However, to get admission in top branches, such as CSE, this may not be enough. Students can check the past year cutoffs to know more.

Yes, you can definitely get a seat in B.Tech CSE at Lovely Professional University even if you didn't qualify Joint Entrance Examination Main. LPU does not depend only on JEE Main, your 80% in 12th (with PCM) already makes you eligible for admission.
The main way to strengthen your admission (and also get scholarship) is by appearing for LPUNEST. Even without it, you can still apply based on your board marks, but LPUNEST can help you get better benefits. So overall, yes—you have a good chance of getting a seat in CSE at LPU.
