Once you have completed your course for jewellery designing, there will be ample of opportunities in both the private and public sectors both. There are government departments such as Museums, Antique Houses, Mines and many more. The government also runs test through UPSC, SSC, PSC, etc.
Apart from the public sector there are ample of opportunities in the private sector of a jewellery designer. You can choose either of the below mentioned places:

For Diploma, Degree and Certificate courses in Jewellery designing, one should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any stream of a recognized institution. Several short term courses are offered for those who have completed their 10th class. Before qualifying for the course, a student has to pass an aptitude test followed by an interview. Jewelry design is the art or profession of designing and creating jewelry. This is one of civilization's earliest forms of decoration, dating back at least 7000 years to the oldest known human societies in Mesopotamia and Egypt.

The Jewellery Design course is basically designed for the people who can channel their creativity into designing pieces of jewellery for their clients. This course will test candidates in honing their drafting, designing and shading skills. This course can be pursued at various academic levels such as undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma.
