Some of the DO's for the candidates for the JEXPO 2025 exam as per the brochure are mentioned below:

• It is advised that the candidates read all the instructions carefully before filling out the application form.
• Fill in the boxes with English capital letters.
• Mention the date of birth carefully, as instructed.
• Candidates should use recent photographs.
• The father's or guardian's name of the candidate and a complete mailing address with the correct postal PIN code number should be written.
• The candidate should use their full signature in the specified place on the application form.
• Mention the zone code correctly in the application form.
• Keep a print copy of the filled-in application form.
• Candidates should write the Question Booklet No. in the specified places on both the OMR Answer Sheet and Attendance Sheet.
• After the completion of the examination, the candidate should submit the OMR sheet to the invigilator.

Don'ts are as follows:

• Candidates are advised not to sign in capital letters.
• Don't attest to the photograph.
• Don't overwrite anywhere in the signature.
• Don't bring a mobile phone, calculator, or any other electronic gadget inside the examination hall.

The exam authorities do not release the JEXPO application form offline. It is released online only. The authority releases the JEXPO application form in offline mode in the form of a PDF. Candidates looking to fill out the JEXPO application form in offline mode need to keep some points in mind. They are mentioned below:

• Name of the candidate to be filled up by leaving one box blank between first name, middle name and last name.
• Candidates have to specify whether seeking admission under the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme.
• Darken the corresponding oval related to the gender, whether male of female.
• Specify Nationality by darkening the corresponding oval.
• Specify Religion by darkening the corresponding oval.
• Specify whether the ward of Ex-Serviceman - Yes/No.
• Valid Kanyashree Enrolee writes their enrollment number.
• Mention the Aadhar number in the JEXPO application form (If available).
• Specify SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate issuing state - West Bengal or other state. 
• Mention the zone code of first and second choice of exam centres.
• Specify the roll number of the Madhyamik/equivalent examination.

JEXPO registration: This is the first step where candidates have to click 'New Registration' and enter all the basic details required to register for JEXPO.

Enter personal information: Now, candidates have to fill out all their personal details and click on 'Save & Continue' to proceed.

Upload photograph & signature: Here, candidates need to upload the scanned images of the photo and signature with the given dimensions.

Academic details: Candidates also have to fill their educational qualification details of Class X including exam passed, board, subject appeared or appearing, etc.

Payment of Fee: After filling all the details correctly, candidates have to pay the application fee.

Printout of application form: After paying the fees, candidates have to take out the printout of the JEXPO application form. Candidates should print multiple copies of the complete application form, as it will be required at different stages of the admission process.
