JMI Entrance Exam

Selected candidates are advised to complete their admission formalities when the schedule is released. Students are required to bring their Admit Card issued for the Entrance Test and attested copies of the following documents, along with the originals, at the time of admission.

• Registration Form    
• Two recent passport size photographs
• Proof of passing the qualifying examination along with the marksheets
• Proof of Permanent Address with the name of the nearest police station and district
• Certificate from a doctor or hospital certifying blood group
• Proof of Age
• Character Certificate from the institution last attended
• Category certificate (If applicable)
• Certificate/Affidavit from gazetted officer (in case of gap period)
• Result of qualifying examination

No, the counseling sessions are held on different days for all the programmes offered by Jamia Millia Islamia. Admission to all Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Post Graduate Diploma, Diploma and Certificate programs offered by the University is done through entrance test and counselling. University releases the subject-wise counselling schedule along with the result. To participate in the counselling, candidates have to reach the concerned department with all the required documents and admission fee. The seat is allotted to the candidate after the verification of documents and payment of the admission fee.
