No, there is no time limit to solve a section in JMI Entrance Exam. The total duration of the exam varies according to the course. Hence, on an average, candidates will get around five minutes for each MCQ. Candidates must keep a tab on the timing as JMI Exam is a time-pressed exam. Before the exam day, candidates are advised to prepare a time management strategy wherein a particular timing should be assigned for each section or subject. They must also note that they will not be given any extra time to complete the exam, nor will they be allowed to take breaks in between or leave before time.

JMI or Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam is a paper-pencil based test. The duration and pattern of test varies according to the course. The test duration for Mass Communication course is of 3 hours, whereas test duration for other courses lies between 1 hour 30 minutes to 3 hours. The valid photo identity card which would be allowed at the JMI Entrance Exam exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id. The admit card should also have the self-attested passport sized photographs pasted on it.
