One of the most important elements while preparing for an entrance exam is time management. Candidates need to work out a time table as to how much material to cover on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. On creating a plan, the candidate can cover all the topics which are to come in the entrance exam. Revise the syllabus and content, attempt as many question papers, mock papers and previous years question papers to better help prepare.

- Always purchase latest prep books available in market.
- Purchase books as per syllabus shared by Jamia Millia Islamia for target course.
- Read book's summary and check whether it includes all topics as per syllabus.
- Purchase prep books which have sample papers you can solve.

Many candidates have scored good by only practicing sample papers, but that is not the ideal way of JMI preparation for all candidates. To crack the JMI exam, the candidates must prepare with the help of books and tutorials for conceptual clarity and then move to practicing sample papers. Many candidates who've attempted the JMI exam before can practice only sample papers and score high because they already have conceptul clarity. However, those attempting the JMI for the first time must give equal importance to both books and sample papers.

No, the JMI Entrance Exam answer key challenge processing fee of INR 500/ programme is non-refundable. Jamia Millia Islamia has specified the same on the information bulletin. As the answer key objection fee is non-refundable, candidates must crosscheck their challenges and be completely sure about the inaccuracy of the provisional answer key before sending out the objections. Given this information, candidates must not expect a refund of fee even if the JMI exam answer key challenges are found to be valid.
