Kalinga deemed to be University appears to have all requisite approvals in place. It seems to me that you need not worry and go ahead with pursuing your M.Tech from this institution.

Minimum eligibility criteria for UG & PG Courses: For admissions to UG programmes at KU, students must have passed Class 12 and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate  (40% for SC/ST). Aspirants will be considered for PG programmes at KU if they have completed their graduation (graduation with three-year duration) with a minimum of 45% aggregate. 

Students belonging to SC and ST category will need a minimum of 40% for admissions. Students aiming for admissions to integrated programmes should have passed Class 12. 

Note: Aspirants are advised to thoroughly go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned by Kalinga

First of all, Kalinga doesn't provide part-time education. All the classes are full-time.

MBA in Hospitality is similar to tourism. There is not much difference in core subjects. This course has a good demand in India and will get you a job quickly.
