In order pursue higher studies from Kennesaw State University, all international applicants have to fulfill certain admission requirements. These requirements for postgraduate/master's courses consist of:

Academic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university;
• Grades: Minimum of 2.75 GPA; and
• Official transcripts from each college or university attended.

Kennesaw State University admission requirements for international students include official English exam scores as a major entry requirement. However, under certain circumstances, prospective graduate students of KSU can request for an English proficiency score waiver and they will considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must fall into one of the following categories for the same:

• The applicant has completed, with a minimum of 3.0 GPA, at least two years full-time study at a recognised college or university whose primary language of instruction is English; OR
• The applicant has completed the highest level of intensive English study at the Georgia Institute of Technology or level 6 of the Intensive English Program at Kennesaw State University; OR
• The applicant has five years residency in the US, working in an establishment where all activities are conducted in English.

At Kennesaw State University, TOEFL waiver is not automatic for any applicant. To request for a TOEFL waiver, the applicant must submit an Request for TOEFL/IELTS waiver to the Office of Graduate Admissions. Applicants to graduate programs may also be required to provide additional evidence of English proficiency in support of a waiver, including, but not limited to:

• An official TOESP (Test of English as a Spoken Language) score of at least 520
• A telephone or in-person interview with an Admissions committee member
• A writing sample certified to be the applicant's own work
