The Kerala SET exam will be conducted in offline mode. The exam will be conducted in pen paper based mode. The candidates will be provided with OMR sheet that will comprise 150 questions and their options. The candidates have to fill out the OMR sheet carefully as no extra OMR sheet will be provided to the candidate. So, the candidates are advised to fill out their name, roll number, date, date of birth subject code carefully. If the candidates makes mistakes in filling out these descriptions there are chances that the OMR sheet will be rejected by the board.

After you qualify the Kerala SET exam, you are awarded the eligibility Certificate. Kerala SET does not guarantee any job after the candidate qualifies the exam. Though, the candidates will become eligible for the recruitment exam after qualifying for the Kerala SET exam. The recruitment exam for recruiting assistant professors in the college and Universities of Kerala is conducted by state The candidates can apply for the different vacancies according to their eligibility. The Kerala government releases the vacancies for the assistant professors according to the need of the state.

No, you can apply and appear for the Kerala SET exam for any number of times till you attain the desired scores. The Kerala SET Certificate is valid for a lifetime according to the norms of NCTE. Though, the candidates can take the Kerala SET exam to upgrade their marks. The guidelines have been given below for the candidates to take the Kerala SET exam:

No, if you have completed a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree, you are not eligible to appear for Kerala SET exam. The basic Kerala SET eligibility criteria 2024 that candidates must fulfil include:

  • Candidates should secure at least 55 per cent marks (without rounding off) in their post-graduation.
  • Candidates awaiting final year results of their master’s degree exams are also eligible to apply.
  • There is no upper age limit to apply for Kerala SET exam.
