The LBS Centre for Science and Technology released the Kerala SET application form 2025 for the July session on April 28, 2025. The last date to fill out the Kerala SET application form is June 10, 2025. However, the candidates will be alowed to pay the application fee for the Kerala SET exam till June 12, 2025. Along with the release of the Kerala SET application form, the notification PDF was also released. The Kerala State Eligibility Test (Kerala SET) certificate is valid for a lifetime. Earlier, the certificate was valid for 3 years which was extended by the National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE). However, the candidates who have qualified for the Kerala SET exam earlier can also appear for the Kerala SET exam to get better results.

Yes, the LBS Centre for Science & Technology releases the Kerala SET cut off in PDF format which comprises subject and category-wise for the candidates who have taken the Kerala SET exam. The candidates securing more than equal to cut off marks in their category will be considered qualified for the assistant professorship or JRF and assistant professorship.

There is no provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of Kerala SET result. The official notification reads, No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The candidates can only raise objections against the provisional answer key. Based on the objections raised by the candidates the final answer key and the result is released.

Yes you can definitely appear for the Kerala SET exam again If you did not clear it in the first attempt. The Kerala SET exam is conducted twice a year by the LBS Centre for Science & Technology for the selection of Assistant Professor in various Kerala Universities and Colleges.
There is no limit on the number o attempts that you can makefor the Kerala SET exam. However, you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the exam, which include having master's degree with at least 55 per cent marks (50 per cent for reserved categories) or equivalent from the UGC recognised University.

The Kerala SET exam is conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of higher secondary school teachers and non-vocational teachers in VHSE. To qualify in the Kerala SET exam, candidates need to secure a minimum of 40 per cent aggregate marks in Paper I and Paper II, separately.
