KLE Technological University, Hubballi is a UGC approved state university. The Hubballi campus is one of the location where the university is functional along with two other campuses. B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology was established in 1947, later in 2015 the same college got status of state private university. The university has got an approval of UGC and AICTE to offers certain programmes. Located in Hubballi, the college functions as a campus of the university. Additionally, the university is also functional at two other campuses of Belgaumn and Bengaluru. The college has been renamed and got status of the university but is still popular with its former name.
