At GIBS Bangalore, students get support for projects, research and entrepreneurship through the IRE (Innovation, Research & Entrepreneurship) programme. There are workshops, activities and expert sessions where students can actually work on their own ideas and projects.

I did my PGDM at GIBS, and I liked that we were encouraged to work on practical ideas instead of only doing regular assignments. Students get guidance to develop business ideas, research work, innovative products and business plans.

So overall, if you're interested in projects, research or starting something of your own, GIBS gives you a good platform to explore it

I think GIBS Bangalore stands out mainly because of the overall exposure students get, not because of just one particular thing.

I did my PGDM at GIBS, and we had a good mix of classroom learning, industry interactions, internships, live projects, events and placement preparation. The finishing-school programme was also something I found useful for improving communication and getting interview-ready.

For me, the biggest difference was that there were opportunities to actually apply what we learned instead of only studying theory. That made the PGDM experience more practical and helped me feel more confident when I started looking f

No, work experience is not compulsory for PGDM admission at GIBS Bangalore. Fresh graduates can apply as well.

I did my PGDM at GIBS, and there were students from both freshers and working backgrounds. So having work experience is definitely an advantage for your profile, but you don't need it just to get admission. GIBS also has a finishing-school programme that works with students from different backgrounds to make them career-ready.

So basically, freshers can apply, and work experience is an added advantage rather than a must.

For GIBS Bangalore, the application process is pretty straightforward for both BBA and PGDM.

You basically fill the online application form, upload the required details/documents and pay the application fee. After submitting it, the GIBS team gets in touch with you for the next steps. For BBA, the process follows Bangalore University norms, and an interview is part of the process.

For PGDM, you can also submit your entrance exam details such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT or KMAT, depending on what you have taken.

I did my PGDM at GIBS, and I remember the admission process being quite simple and easy to follow. So whether you're

GIBS provides value for its BBA and PGDM programs, but the PGDM has a better return on investment (ROI) due to the tuition fee vs placement opportunities. The BBA programme is cheaper and gives learners a strong business foundation through internships, exposure, and skill training. However, the PGDM programme prepares graduates for better-paying jobs and access to management positions. In nutshell, students can make the most out of their education and earn better shells if they opt for PGDM.

One of the main strengths of the GIBS PGDM programme is its industry interface, which promotes continuous contact between the students and the professionals in the industry throughout the course rather than just during placements.

The following are some of the features of industry exposure:

  • Guest Lectures & Corporate Talks: Industry professionals such as CEOs,
  • CXOs, entrepreneurs, and industry experts are invited by GIBS to discuss various business issues and challenges through Leadership Talk Series, webinars, and special sessions.
  • Live Projects: Students work on industry-sponsored projects, case studies, simulations, and other practical
