Satisfied with my admission in the college.
Placements: 100% of students got placed. The average package offered is 15 LPA in KLE Prabhakar Kore Hospital. 100% of students got internships in KLE Hospital as doctors. It is a great place to study, if your interested in studies then it is a great place as well thus allowing ample opportunities. Skill lab allowing visualization.
Infrastructure: Library has AC. The study room allows us to study in the comfort of our hostel room. There is a table, chair, cot, fan, and almirah in a room, and big enough to allow playing football in the room itself. A water cooler to quench the thirst in the scorching heat of Belgaum.
Other: Those who want to study medicine should go for this because this place gives ample opportunity for one to learn many things, including a skill lab where one can practice real-life practical things on a model, thus giving hands-on experiences.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2025

The college provides one of the best campus facilities.
Placements: Our course has limited seating; the previous year's batch consisted of around seven students, most of whom secured placements in reputable companies and research institutions such as ICMR. A few have even applied for Ph.D. programs in the same course at our college. In the final year, we have a compulsory three-month internship, and students have completed internships at research institutes like the National AIDS Research Institute in Pune, ICMR, and other R&D institutes. Some have also interned at biotech and pharmaceutical companies such as Huwel Lifescience Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad, Tulip Pvt Ltd in Goa, and Biocon in Bangalore.
Infrastructure: The center features several laboratories, including an analytical laboratory, a microbiological laboratory, a cell culture laboratory, and a molecular biology and bioinformatics laboratory. These facilities focus on critical areas like phytochemicals, drug delivery, molecular biology and genetics, microbiology, cell culture, cancer biology, bioinformatics, and drug discovery. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, including the hostel, and can be easily accessed using your university registration number. Our campus boasts a well-furnished and spacious traditional and digital library with access to paid journals and a designated study area.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified scientists who possess both research and teaching experience. They engage us more in practical learning rather than in traditional classroom environments. Consequently, we spend more time in labs than in classrooms, making this course effectively prepare us for the industry. The semester exams at this college are somewhat challenging, with a passing percentage of 50%.
Other: I chose this course based on my interest in research and innovation. One of the best aspects of this program is the exposure to multiple fields, which provides a wider range of job options. Our campus, spanning approximately 100 acres, offers beautiful green spaces and includes facilities such as a garden, convenience store, pharmacy, gym, basketball and football courts, badminton court, convention center, swimming pool, canteen, coffee shops, guest houses, and hostels.

Good infrastructure, but no fests are conducted and management is not up to the mark.
Placements: A lot of students got placed from our batch, around 85% of students got placed. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Amazon, and Deloitte. 75% got internships at Wipro, EY, etc. Top roles offered are SDE, Analyst, and Consultant.
Infrastructure: The course has smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, advanced labs, and a well-stocked library. Hostels are clean and well-maintained. Mess food is hygienic with decent variety. Canteen is good. Medical aid is available, and sports facilities are adequate.
Faculty: Faculty are qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good with practical insights. The curriculum is relevant and aligns well with industry needs. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 90%.
Other: Professional and goal driven institute.

The life in JNMC, Belagavi.
Placements: In medical college, there are usually no placements. There are just internships and after that, if you wish to work somewhere as an MBBS graduate then JNMC as a college on your resume will look strong as this institution goes back to 1963. Many people have cracked NEET PG from here, and the clinical knowledge you get from the patient flow is amazing.
Infrastructure: There is a campus with Wi-Fi that works throughout with good internet speed. There is a world-class library present here. I genuinely love the library as there is no book on medicine, you won't find here. The catalogue is vast and impressive. There is also a reading room that is open for students 24/7. Labs here are also world-class and they incorporated newer technologies into curriculum to enhance the learning process. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and ACs and are generally well thought out.
Faculty: Teachers here are of top-most quality. They are good and mature (except for a few). In all colleges usually, only some teachers and some departments are good but I can say that in our college at least 85% of the teachers are amazing, well qualified, and approachable. They genuinely are good and I am not joking. Their concepts are clear and classes are amazing. They are very knowledgeable with sizeable years of experience. The course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is 40%, and they are strict about it. The semester exams are actually difficult and they give tricky questions as well.
Other: I chose this course because I love medicine and everything about the human body and look forward to doing great things for the best of humanity. You might have questions sometimes about why you took it but you will love the satisfaction it gives you at the end of the day. There are no fests that occur in this college particularly but you can definitely go to Invictus Manipal and AFMC Pune which are only 8 hours bus ride away from Belagavi. Extracurricular activities aren't that prevalent here and neither is there a push for it.

Life time experience 1 can cherish.
Placements: In our field, there are no such kinds of placements because it's not an IT field. It is a medical field, so among 100 students, 50 students opted for higher education. Around 25 students joined as junior doctors in multispeciality hospitals. Some 25 students opened their own clinics.
Infrastructure: Overall, the campus is well-built. The infrastructure is student-friendly. There is 24/7 Wi-Fi. Labs are well-equipped. We have 24/7 reading rooms. The library contains 30,000 books which include all languages. It has medical and non-medical books. Hostels are well-furnished and compared to other hostels, ours is the best and cost-effective. We have a canteen facility which is open till night 10 PM. We get health insurance which covers our family as well.
Faculty: Teachers are always ahead of us. They motivate and encourage in the main point. There are no compromises in teaching. They treat all students equally. We don't have any semester exams. We have yearly exams which include 2 internals and 1 final exam. Passing criteria depends on the university. In our college, the passing percentage is 50%. The difficulty of exams depends on students how they grab the knowledge.
Other: Ours was the 2017 batch which we called Advitians. The most friendly batch that I found. I chose this course because it was my grandfather to made me a doctor. The best thing about the course was that we made many friends, memories, knowledge, and everything we got here. We can say that it's a 1-time experience in a lifetime which you won't get in your future life. I can say everything is perfect. There is no need for any kind of improvement in the college. Every year, they conduct an annual sports meet, annual day, national day, and international conference. We have NSS camps, village camps, and several other activities conducted by the cultural committee. Sports were held.

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College review.
Placements: There are various organizations and companies offering internship roles with stipends. The college has a wide range of networks and coordination with multiple organizations. In our batch, 80 percent of the students were selected by WHO for internships, and after the internship, they were offered jobs. Now, they are employed at WHO.
Infrastructure: We have different types of clubs like the Journal Club and Publication Club. The college has a large library with a wide range of books that are easily accessible. There is also a digital library with subscriptions to different paid sites where we can access articles and full books in PDF format. The college holds a yearly event where both faculty and students mutually organize and participate. Various sports and other activities are available. Events have featured Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities as chief guests. Our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi visited the college once during my time, and Shahrukh Khan and other singers have also participated in our college events.
Faculty: The curriculum is very broad and prepares us well for the real world, allowing us to apply what we've learned practically. Both the course and faculty are excellent, and I don't see any improvements needed. Exams are conducted twice internally and once as a final exam in each semester. The exam papers are tough, fitting the course requirements.
Other: The hostel rooms are fully furnished with cupboards, and there is backup power for lighting. Each floor has one washing machine for self-service laundry. The college hostel provides good quality and healthy meals, with non-vegetarian options available twice a week. Drinking water is purified on campus, and the dispensers provide both hot and cold water. The registration process is simple, and we can also register online. Rooms outside the campus can be rented for around five thousand to ten thousand for a one BHK.
