Hello,
When it is about UGC NET exam, be clear about your efforts as it is being conducted on National level. Never take paper 1 for granted it carries 100 marks. As far as study plan is concerned must devote 5-6 hours a day, that too religiously. Know your syllabus well and go for the best study materials. Stick to the syllabus only, UGC NET English has a very vast syllabus. Along with this start with the topics you know well so that you can complete them in short time and it will boost your confidence as well. UGC NET at least require 6 months.
