The ranking of Dr. B.R Ambedkar College of Law, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam is quite good. The college has been ranked in various rankings as follows:
1- The college has been ranked 10th and 15th in the World University Ranking 2019.
2- The college was ranked 11th in the NIRF rankings.
3- In 2023, the college was ranked 24th out of 70 colleges in India.
4- The college was ranked 15th out of 15 in India in the NIRF Law ranking in 2019.
5- The college has been ranked 1st in Andhra Pradesh in the India Today Law ranking.

The placements, cuisine, and instruction at our college are the greatest. Placements: Ninety percent of the students in our course are studying. One LPA is the lowest salary package and three LPAs are the highest. There are 60–70 students in a batch, and about 30–40 students received offers with an average package of 8–10 LPA. The remainder is based on the pupil's academic performance. Overall, the college offers top-notch instruction and job placements.

The BMS College of Law offers various lawa courses to students viz., BA LLB, BCom LLB and LB courses. When it comes to the placements, BMS Law College has a record of placements for BA LLB and BCom LLB courses. According to the NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to BA LLB and BCom LLB students during BMS Law College placements 2022 was INR 4.50 LPA. The BMS Law College placement report has not been released yet on the official website. Once it is released, the placement rate will be updated here. However, BMS College of Law has released the NIRF report 2023. According to that report, only 7 students were placed out of total 69 students.

BMS College of Law offers BA LLB and BCom LLB courses annually for the duration of the five years. The placement details of the current batch 2023 are yet to be released on the official website. Once it is released, it will be updated here. However, the placement details of BA LLB/BCom LLB batch 2022 is disclosed in the NIRF report 2023. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) counselling will start on November 14, 2023 with the TS LAWCET 2023 counselling registration process.

To participate in the counselling process, candidates first need to register for it. 

Candidates will not be allowed to take the TS PGLCET exam in Telugu language. The TS PGLCET exam will have to be attempted in English language only. The questions, guidelines and MCQ type questions will all be asked in English only. Candidates may opt for other national level entrance exams which have the option for students to attempt their paper in other language as well.
