Established in June 1977, Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune is a Symbiosis International University (SIU) constituent. The Law school is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). It was awarded the ‘Best College’ amongst the top 3 in virtual ‘IPTSE awards and IPTE Conclave’. SLS Pune is ranked 5 for Law in the NIRF 2024 ranking. India Today ranked SLS Pune at 1 under the ‘Top 10 Private Law Colleges in India’ category. The Law school offers 15 courses at UG, PG, diploma, certificate and PhD level across four streams.
SLS Pune has its research centre known as Symbiosis Centre for Advanced Legal Studies and Research (SCALSAR) and a Students Bar Association to improve the Law-practicing skills of its students.
