Symbiosis Law School Pune has a total seat intake capacity of 80 seats for LLM course. For admission to the course, the university considers some reservation criteria out of this number. The bifurcation of number of seats is given below: 

  1. For SC category 15% seats are reserved.
  2. For ST category 7.5% seats are reserved.
  3. For Differently Abled category 3% seats are reserved.
  4. For Children/wards of Defence Personnel category 5% seats are reserved.
  5. For Kashmiri Migrants category 15% seats are reserved.

The minimum required marks for LLM course offered by SLS Pune differs. The university offers one year LLM course. To get admission, candidates need to clear the entrance test conducted by the university every year. The eligibility criteria to get registered for SLAT 2024 is mentioned in the table below:

Symbiosis International University (SIU) conducts the Symbiosis Law School All India Admission Test for admission to the LLM course every year. To apply for SLS entrance exam, candidates must have cleared five-year of three-year LLB degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 45% aggregate in case of General category candidate.

For candidates belonging to SC or ST category, the minimum required percentage is 40%. Also, the candidates whose LLB results are awaited can register for the entrance test. Provided, they will have to submit their passing certificate at the time of admission to the university.

Yes. Getting into Symbiosis Law School (SLS) for LLM is considered to be moderately tough. The acceptance rate for SLS LLM is around 20-30%. The number of seats available for LLM is limited, and the competition is high.

No, Symbiosis does not accept CLAT scores for LLM admissions. Symbiosis Law Schools conduct their own entrance exam called the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) for admission to their LLM programs.
