Burdwan University LL.B. Eligibility Criteria Candidates seeking admissions to LL.B. Courses at Burdwan University must fulfil the following eligibility criteria: Candidates must have a valid Bachelors degree with at least 45% of the total marks under 10+2+3 pattern. A relaxation of 5% is given to SC/ST category candidates. Candidates must also appear for the Written Admission Test conducted by the university itself. Burdwan University LLB.

Admission Guidelines Admissions to the LL.B. Programme offered by Burdwan University are based on the Admission Test and academic merit of the candidates followed by counselling rounds. Admission Test conducted shall consist of English and General Knowledge as subjects. The test shall be of 100 marks. Roll no for admission test will be issued by the Office of Secretary in the Hall ticket at the time of application form submitted by the candidate. The rank of the candidates will be made based on the marks obtained in the written test. In case of the uniform score of the candidates in the written test, preference will be given to the candidates having an Honours Degree than Pass Graduates.

Candidates seeking admission against Sports (SP) quota of seats must have to submit certificates for their participation in Inter-State or Inter-University Sports and Athletic competitions (not earlier than Madhyamik level). Candidates who claim reservation against such quota must also personally appear with all the supporting documents in original at the Office Chamber of the Secretary, Faculty Council (Arts etc. ).

Final admissions will be done through counselling, the date, time and venue for which will be notified with the publication of the rank list.

• Fill the application form with the academic, personal and educational qualification details asked. 
• Attach the following documents:
  • Self-attested photocopies of mark sheets of all the public examinations passed
  • Age-proof Certificate of SC/ ST/ PH/ Sports
  • If any Duly filled-in application form along with a Demand Draft of INR 250 to be drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, The University of Burdwan, payable at State Bank of India, Burdwan University branch.
