Hello Sneha,
As per my knowledge, there's only one college in Mangalore:-
SDM Law College
Instead of studying in Mangalore, why are you not trying for Bangalore? Moreover, give CLAT exam and other entrance exam.
All the best for your future.

After B.Com, it would be better.
Nevertheless. if your keen interest is in pursuing law as your career, you should go with that rather than what everyone's doing now.

Dear
You should have minimum of 50 percentage in your graduation degree.
You need to prepare for CLAT exam through that you would get good law college.
Many universities have their own entrance exam as in admission process. For that, you can check Shiksha's website for the top law college and their admission process information.
All the best.

If you do not have law background, then you are not qualified for LLB and you cannot practice law in Indian courts.

Hi Kumar Sourav,
Both the courses are good. After completing MBA, you can go for executive positions in corporate organizations. Law offer great opportunities like legal officer, company secretary positions, etc.

If you want to practice in Indian courts after law degree you are advised to do regular LLB as Bar Council of India does not recognise LLB through distance learning.

After LLB you can practice in lower courts. However, it is advisable to work under an experienced advocate to learn basics of court procedures and practices.
