NLSIU is considered to be one of the best law colleges in India. Not an expert, but an industrial lawyer is paid well.

Hi,
You are not eligible due to age bar, which is framed by Bar Council of India and that is maximum 30 years for general category and 35 for SC/ ST and OBC.
All the best.

According to the BCI's revised age bar policy, the candidates below 30 years of age (as on the date of admission) will be considered eligible for pursuing three year LLB program from state law colleges of Maharashtra. Candidates belonging to OBC, SC, and ST categories from Maharashtra state are given a relaxation of five years, i.e., the age cap for them is 35 years as on the date of admission. You are not eligible to pursue law, if you are from a general category candidate.

As you have completed B.Tech in 2014 and if you start your further education now and complete it in 2020, your age will be around 28. You may face challenges in getting a job as a fresher because of age, but if your score well, any recruiter may give you an exception on age criteria.

Independent practiinglawyers do not get salary but fee. Fee is based on experience, expertise, case complexity and on type of court your practice.
