Dear,
In order to become a judge, one has to qualify the judicial service examination conducted annually by the Public Service Commission of the respective states. To appear in this exam, one must hold a Bachelor's legal degree like BA LLB after completing class 12th or LLB degree after graduation from a recognised university or institution and must have enrolled as an advocate with membership in the state bar council.
The age limit for taking the exam may vary from state to state.
All the best.

Law has much wider scope than Political Science. Many successful Politicians are actually law graduates.
After Pursuing law you can work in:
Law Firms
Independent lawyer after some years of experience
In Government departments like Human Rights commission, PSUs etc
You can prepare for Judicial Services
In my opinion you should opt for BA LLB where you can choose political Science as your BA subject.
Entrance Exams. - CLAT, SAT, BLAT, IPU CET, NLU D

Hi,
This is being unfair to one education option. It depends on your interest and which field you find your career in. When interest and passion is high in one field then it becomes your career for life. You can go through a career assessment aptitude test to understand your interests better. Both are different domains, different placements, different roles and functions and in a different manner you contribute in a society. Money wise both are good.
