Applicants must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks for General/OBC applicants and 40% for SC/ST candidates in order to be eligible for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) programme at Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU). Candidates also need to take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and receive a passing score. There is no direct entrance path available; admission is determined by CLAT rankings.

The admission to this course is also entrance-based. Candidates must qualify for either KLEE or KEAM Aptitude Test, followed by PI round. Recent cutoff informations is not yet released by the official website of college, however according to 2021 cutoff statistics, KEAM round-wise cutoff Rank (General-All India) was ranked at 731 for 2nd round.
