I think UPES, Dehradun is better than SRM University, Delhi in all aspects. SRM University is just looting student's money. There is no secure placement in SRM.

The 5 year LLB course will have a Bachelor's degree as BA LLB, BBA LLB and likewise. It will save your 1 year and will provide more opportunities in understanding Law than the 3 year course. For 3 year course you have to do your graduation first. And in 5 year course you will be doing both Law and graduation together. Yes you can give CLAT after graduation but CLAT is for BA LLB course, which is of 5 years and not 3 years. So, if you want to appear for CLAT, you will be doing BA.LLB for 5 years.

Your rank is quite decent, so be hopeful. Keep an eye on the vacancies. Please check out on the link:

Your class 12th marks have least impact on your placements. All that would matter is your CV, grades and work ethics.

Your placements depend on your grades, CV and work ethics. Faculty is pretty good in almost all the NLUs and also in the private institutions, like Symbiosis, Amity, SRM, UPES, etc.

Actually, both of them have a great brand name, Symbiosis and NMIMS both will give you great course and brand value but I would recommend you to go for NMIMS just because it's in Mumbai which will give you great job opportunities compared to Pune.

Hi,
There are various colleges that offer LLB with a cut off for 40%. You can try KLE Society's law college at Bangalore that has a cut-off for 45% for LLB. I think you can make it as you're almost close to it. Good luck, hope this helped!
