Student must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised University. Students must have the percentage in the undergraduate degree from 45% to 55% for general category students with relaxation for reserved categories.

Yes, you can get into the LLB programme offered at Ajeenkya DY Patil University without appearing for the CLAT exam. The university accepts students on the basis of their entrance exam (ACET for Law) conducted by the university. Those who clear then entrance exam are then called for personal interview for final shortlisting. Hence, there is no need to appear for the CLAT exam. Eligible students can apply for the LLB course by visiting the official website of the university.

The highest package going offered for LL.B students at the Department of Law, MDU is up to INR 25 Lacs per annum. However, the median package offered to LL.B students is quite low, that ranges between INR 4-6 Lacs per annum. For the 2022 batch out of 57 students of LL.B, 40 students were placed. The trend of the placement rate has been in a bit of a decline in the recent three years as the median package has dipped down to 4-6 Lacs per annum in 2022 from 7.80 Lacs per annum in 2020. I find out from the MDU official website that the Department of Law, the offering affiliate, has reasonable placement feedback on its LL.B program. Many legal organizations such as the law firms and corporate houses recruit new members from the institution together with government organizations. The highest salary offered to the students is around INR 6 Lacs per annum and the minimum salary offered is INR 4 Lacs per annum. Getting the latest cutoff information about LL.B admission at Faculty of Law, MGKVP is something very different depending on the category of the candidate. For the 2023 cutoff, the unreserved category had the cutoff at 304 and EWS category at 288.
