Student must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised University. Students must have the  percentage in the undergraduate degree from 45% to 55% for general category students with relaxation for reserved categories.

So this is eligibility criteria for the LLB.

So you are eligible for the LLB course.

Yes, you can get into the LLB programme offered at Ajeenkya DY Patil University without appearing for the CLAT exam. The university accepts students on the basis of their entrance exam (ACET for Law) conducted by the university. Those who clear then entrance exam are then called for personal interview for final shortlisting. Hence, there is no need to appear for the CLAT exam. Eligible students can apply for the LLB course by visiting the official website of the university.

The highest package going offered for LL.B students at the Department of Law, MDU is up to INR 25 Lacs per annum. However, the median package offered to LL.B students is quite low, that ranges between INR 4-6 Lacs per annum. For the 2022 batch out of 57 students of LL.B, 40 students were placed. The trend of the placement rate has been in a bit of a decline in the recent three years as the median package has dipped down to 4-6 Lacs per annum in 2022 from 7.80 Lacs per annum in 2020. To be specific the top recruiters of these management graduates are law firms, corporate houses and government organizations.

Recruiters for this course are various Law firms including Khaitan & Co., Luthra & Luthra along with some of the corporate giants in India such as HDFC, ICICI, and Axis Bank.
