The most recent cutoff dates for Lovely Professional University's (LPU) B.Tech admissions are based on LPUNEST 2025 results as of June 2025.  The cutoff is categorized to ascertain eligibility for scholarships. The LPUNEST exam is administered with a total score of 400.  Students who receive more than 300 points are classified as Category A and are eligible for a tuition cost scholarship of up to 70%.  

Candidates who score between 150 and 211 come into Category C, which offers 50% scholarship, while those who score between 212 and 299 fall into Category B, which offers 60% scholarship.   The exam is scheduled for early June, and the application deadline for LPUNEST is June 20, 2025.

Yes, you can apply for the B.Ed. programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU) if you earned a MA in English from CMJ University, Shillong and scored 74%. To apply for the B.Ed. at LPU, candidates have to own at least a Bachelor's or Master's degree with 50% aggregate marks from a valid university. Meeting this requirement with your MA makes you eligible.

LPU also provides a programme that combines a Bachelor of Arts with a Bachelor of Education and this programme requires a minimum score of 50% in your Senior Secondary (10+2) education or similar. Still, because you already hold an MA degree, this combined course is not designed for you.
