KGMU Lucknow offers direct admission to only BSc aspirants. For BSc course, the selection is based on the last qualifying exam of Class 12. For other Medical and Dental courses such as MBBS, BDS, MD, DM, etc., candidates are selected based on national-level entrance exams. Admission to these courses is completely based on a valid scores of NEET UG, NEET PG, NEET SS, etc., entrance exams. Find below the list of accepted entrance exam for the respective courses offered at KGMU:

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 8832 and closing rank was 11939. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 14404 and 16120. Admission to BTech in Information Technology at IIIT Lucknow - Indian Institute of Information Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was 9480 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission at IIIT Lucknow - Indian Institute of Information Technology.

For 2022, cut off was 9480 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Lucknow - Indian Institute of Information Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota 13346 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The IIIT Lucknow CSE average package 2024 has not been released officially. However, the overall average package is out for BTech and MTech courses. The IIIT Lucknow average package 2024 offered to BTech students was INR 29.85 LPA. On the other hand, the average package for MTech courses stood at INR 18.50 LPA. In 2023 the average package for BTech and MTech courses stood at INR 30.52 LPA and INR 22.10 LPA, respectively.
