Nice environment but didn't get college vibes as expected.
Placements: 30-35% of students in the last year got placements. The highest package is 3.1 LPA. The lowest package is around 1 LPA - 2 LPA. The average package is around 2.2 LPA - 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are ICIC Bank, Punjab National Bank (PNB), Reliance Industries, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are airy and big in size but there is no air conditioning. Libraries are available on each floor. Neither I nor any of my friends live in the college hostel, so I can't provide a genuine opinion. A big ground is available where there is a basketball court and a volleyball court. Free parking is available with CCTV cameras.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and skilled. I got all my queries solved just before my exam. Semesters are easy because the pattern of question papers does not change. Solving the last few year's question papers can make us score well. The total passing percentage is 36%.
Other: I chose B.Com because I can find a job easily. I do not need any such improvements. An event was organised by our college named Goonj where we participated in many programs like singing, dancing, modeling, photography, etc. A certificate is also provided to participants.

It has a beautiful campus life.
Placements: I am a student of Bachelor of Arts. Many students got internships from different courses like MBA from different companies. Students get internships by their eligibility criteria. Maximum students get placed in our college. I did not opt for placements, so I did not know more about it.
Infrastructure: The internship at my college is good. There are two libraries. It has a big library named Tiger Library. Wi-Fi is available in libraries. My college provides a separate library for competitive students. There is a good quality of hostel. The food facility in the hostel is so good. The mess food is nice.
Faculty: Teachers at my college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of every teacher is good. The behavior of teachers is so good. Semester exams are not tough, and everyone passes the semester exam so easily. The pass percentage of semester exams is 33%.
Other: The college campus is so big. There is a good vibe here. It has a beautiful campus.

B.Sc. in Mathematics - Batch of 2023
2.6
2Placements3Infrastructure2Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Not worth it if you are looking for to be industry ready.
Placements: Since B.Sc. Maths is an academic course, there are very slim chances of getting placement at this university, and I believe this is true for all other academic courses as well. During the duration of my course, not even once did any company come for internship and this is true because most of the students in the batch studying here are looking for further studies rather than a job.
Infrastructure: The hostel here is allotted on a yearly basis before the start of each year. There are both girls and boys hostels, which are both clean enough for government colleges. The university has both library and wi-fi labs for its students, with ample space to accommodate students.
Faculty: 1. The teachers here are very qualified but it depends on the students how much they can extract from them. 2. My subjects in my final year were math and computer science, in which I believe mathematics was up to par but CS was a bit lacking, as even in 2022 we were being taught 8085 and 8086 microprocessors, which currently have no use in today's industry. 3. In my point of view, exams are not very difficult if you have completed book questions because 60%–70% of exam papers were set from prescribed books by professors.

B.Sc. in Botany - Batch of 2026

Satisfied with facilities. Absolutely dissatisfied with administration system, placements, faculty.
Placements: My batch is B.Sc. Botany and Zoology. The percentage of students placed is 70% out of those who applied. We haven't got any internship offers yet. Placements are not good. The package is too low, and the workload is too much.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is only available for the teaching staff. Labs and classrooms are okay, but the projectors are old. The library is also okay, but you have to go through a lot of processes to issue a book. The food in the canteen is good. I haven't seen any medical facilities yet. Sports are okay. No medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They are qualified and very knowledgeable. The quality of teaching differs per teacher, so only some are good. The course is relevant for those who want knowledge but not for those who want employment. Exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 70%. There is zero management and no guidance.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't have any other option. It would be better if they focused more on practicals than theory. Students shouldn't be required to make 200-page practical files. Events are so common, and fests feel like one-time programs where they ask for too much money. The campus crowd is okay. The scholarship is okay too, but it has to do a lot of process.

The infrastructure and facilities of the university are really good.
Placements: About 50 to 60% of students are placed in the B.com course. The lowest average package offered in my course is 2 LPA, and the highest average package is 15 LPA, but it depends on the individual's experience. The top recruiting companies for such courses are HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is really good. The food provided in the canteen is average, and its price is reasonable. Medical facilities are also available at the university. There is a large playground where students can practice for their upcoming competitions and games. The university provides as much support as it can.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is really good. This course doesn't make students industry-ready, but it provides them with knowledge that helps in find jobs easily. The semester exams are moderate at the university or college.
Other: The things I wish were better or improved in my course are that they should provide more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. Programs, events, fests, extracurricular activities, scholarships, etc., are provided. From time to time, competitions are held to boost students' creativity and innovative minds.

Review of Wing Christian College.
Placements: Our college doesn't give placement in any course as it is not an engineering college; our college only provides us with a with a degree. No recruiting company recruits students from Wing Christian College; they only provide us with degrees, and no placement is done here so this college is only for those who want to get a degree.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very unique its like you are entering a British museum, as there have been no changes made in its infrastructure since it was made so it makes you remember old Indian culture and Indian heritage, as well as being an autonomous Christian college.
Faculty: Teacher and helpful and very much qualified and knowledgeable as our college conducts exams of the teachers who are recruited but the semester exams time is so short and very tough and the syllabus is really to tough to finish. They also push our limits in contesting exams as they take very little time in conducting exams !
Other: I chose this course because I want to make a career in mathematics. Also, our college doesn't organize any fests, but the campus is clean and pure with lots of greenery.

A:

The curriculum and mode of study is similiar for both regular BCom and self-finance BCom. However, the main difference is, in a regular BCom seat the expenses of the course is provided by the university fund or uGC fund therefore, the fee is low, and in BCom self financed, for such courses university or UGC does not provide any grant, hence such course has higher fee. Additionally, self-finance seats is a management quota seat, that means those seats are reserved for the students who don't qualify the eligibility criteria but willing to do BCom course.
