No, LUMET is not compulsory to get admissions into MBA courses at Lucknow University. Because Lucknow University also considers the scores of CUET PG for admissions to MBA courses. Therefore, LUMET is one of the accepted entrance exams for admissions to MBA at Lucknow University. However, it is not compulsory. 

For Lucknow University MBA admission, candidates must have a three/to four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field of study, awarded by a University or Institute established as per law and recognised as equivalent by this University. Passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates). The candidate must also hold the official documents for the same.
