I don't think there is much difference between the two, if you want du stamp on your degree then you must go for NCWEB, but then again there is not much difference when it comes to weekend learning mode, there is not much to look out for.

Hello,
Eligibility criteria:
The candidates with a BA (Hons.) degree in English are eligible to apply. Selection criteria on the basis of Marks in the Graduation Degree.
50% - 10+2 or Equivalent (Best 4 subjects other than Environmental Education (ENVS))
50% -Marks obtained in Honours or its equivalent degree
If you fulfill all the criteria then you will definitely get an admission. Good luck.

Hello,
For doing MA I. English, you have to appear for the RUPGCET exam of this University.
Other eligibility criteria
Any graduate with English in Part I or Part
II for a minimum of at least 200 marks.
RPUGCET
All candidates who have passed their qualifying exam with at least 40% marks in the subject concerned fulfill RUPGCET 2019 eligibility criteria for Science course admissions. However, candidates applying for MSc Data Science course must score at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates) in group subjects, informs the official website.

MA is preceded by BA and so, it is not possible to get directly into MA in English. but you are eligible for BA.

Hello,
MA (English) will definitely help you to have common over English language. It will create the atmosphere for learning. But, still you will have to take efforts as per as spoken part is concern. Enrich your listening. Read at least 30 pages in English. Novels, Drama, Poetry, criticism etc. After MA, you can prepare for NET exam. NET is essential qualification for Assistant Professor. If possible start teaching to school boys it will enrich your confidence and language. Wish you good luck.

Yes, you can apply for MA in English from North-Eastern Hill University, as the eligibility criteria for admission is that candidate must have completed bachelor degree with hons. in English from a recognized University.
