The only information available on the website is that it has only limited seats and admissions are offered on the basis of merit only. The eligibility for the course is that candidates must have completed graduation with honours/general or pass (10+2+3) in the respective subject with full 300 marks at the graduation level.

The eligibility criteria for MA in English is 50% aggregate in graduation from any recognized university. Further, admissions are mostly based on entrance exam marks. If you qualify for CUET PG or any other state level or university specific entrance exam, you can easily get admission to good colleges and universities. Some universities may also give admission on a merit basis. For instance, you may get in via merit mode in MA in English at Delhi University if you have completed BA in English from DU itself. The university releases separate cut-off lists for both entrance and merit modes of admission.
Rest, it is advisable to check

Visit the following link:
The requirement is BA in English. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information. Perhaps you can try IGNOU, the university for distance education:

It's very heartening to know your desire to seek admission in regular MA. But I am afraid, in DU, the application process is fully online and the last date is over too. If you want to do it in DU, you may have to wait till the next year. But then, you have the other option of doing it via distance education.
Best wishes.
