From a student's point of view, yes, CGPA does matter for placements at LPU, but it's not the only thing that decides everything. Many companies set a minimum CGPA criteria (like 6 or 7), so maintaining a decent score is important just to be eligible. But what I've seen is that after clearing that cutoff, your skills like coding, projects, communication, and problem-solving matter much more.

LPU also provides training in aptitude, soft skills, and interviews, which helps you go beyond just academics. Students with average CGPA but strong skills still manage to get good offers.

At the same time, a higher CGPA can give you an edge for top

From a student's point of view, the placement record of LPU is quite good, especially for branches like CSE. Every year, a large number of companies visit the campus, including top recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra, so opportunities are definitely there. What I've seen is that LPU focuses a lot on placement preparation through aptitude, coding, and soft skills training, which really helps students perform well. The highest packages can go quite high for top performers, while average packages are decent for most students. There are also internship and training opportunities that improve your chan

From a student's point of view, honestly, every big university has mixed opinions, so it's better to look at the ground reality. LPU is a huge campus with strict security, CCTV surveillance, and regular checks, so things like drugs are not openly tolerated and action is taken if someone is involved. It also depends a lot on the kind of crowd you choose to be around, because your environment shapes your experience. Talking about teaching, most faculty members are qualified and supportive, especially if you are serious about your studies and approach them. What I've seen is that students who stay focused and use the resources properly ac

From a student's point of view, campus selection at LPU is quite good and well-organized. Every year, a large number of companies visit the campus, including big names like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, and TCS, so students get plenty of opportunities. What I've seen is that LPU has a dedicated placement team that starts preparing students early with aptitude, coding, and interview training. The selection process usually includes online tests, technical rounds, and HR interviews, similar to other top colleges. Packages vary, but if you have good skills, you can aim for decent to high offers. Even average students get chances through ma

From a student's point of view, there isn't any fixed cutoff for B.Tech CSE at LPU like you see in IITs or NITs. The basic eligibility is around 60% in Class 12 with PCM, which makes you eligible to apply. After that, admission is mainly based on LPUNEST or sometimes JEE score, so it's more flexible rather than strict cutoff-based. For CSE, a better LPUNEST score increases your chances and also helps in getting a good scholarship. What I've seen is that even average scorers can get CSE if they meet eligibility and perform decently in the entrance test. Also, cutoffs are not fixed and can vary each year depending on competition. So over

From a student's perspective, the faculty at LPU is generally good and supportive. Most professors are well-qualified, with many having M.Tech or PhD degrees, and some even have international teaching or research exposure.

What I've personally noticed is that teachers are quite approachable, so you can easily clear doubts or ask for guidance outside class as well.

They also focus on practical learning through projects, presentations, and real-world examples instead of just theory.

In courses like CSE, some faculty members are really strong in their domains, especially in areas like coding and new technologies.

Of course, like any universit

From a student's point of view, if your financial background is not strong, I would honestly suggest going with LPU for B.Tech CSE. The main reason is that LPU offers good scholarship opportunities based on your 12th marks or entrance tests, which can significantly reduce the fee burden.

In terms of academics, the CSE curriculum is quite updated with areas like AI, data science, and industry-based training, so you get practical exposure as well.

Placements are also decent, with companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and TCS visiting, so you get good opportunities if you work on your skills.

Amity Noida and Sharda are also good, but their fees

From a student's perspective, Class 12 marks are important, but they are not the only thing that matters for BTech CSE admission in LPU. You generally need around 60% in 12th with PCM to be eligible, so that's the basic requirement.

Along with that, you usually have to give LPUNEST, which is LPU's own entrance test, mainly for admission confirmation and scholarships.

The good part is that JEE score can also be considered, so if you have that, it can be helpful.

What I've seen is that the entrance test is not very tough, and it actually gives you a chance to improve your chances or get a scholarship.

So overall, 12th marks matter, but givin

From a student's perspective, taking admission in LPU is quite simple and flexible. The main route for engineering is through LPUNEST, which is the university's own entrance and scholarship test. You generally need around 60% in Class 12 with subjects like Physics, Maths, and English to be eligible.

JEE is not mandatory for admission, which is a big relief for many students. However, if you have a good JEE score, LPU can consider it for scholarships, so it can still be beneficial.

The application process is online, and everything is quite smooth, from registration to slot booking.

What I liked is that LPU gives multiple chances and option

From a student's point of view, placements at LPU are actually one of the strong points. Every year, a large number of companies visit the campus, including big names like Microsoft, Amazon, and Cognizant, which gives students good exposure and opportunities. What I've noticed is that LPU puts a strong focus on placement preparation through regular aptitude classes, mock interviews, and coding practice, so students are not left on their own. Packages vary depending on individual skills, but if you stay consistent and work on your profile, you can get decent offers. There are also mass recruiters like TCS and Capgemini, so most students
