You should go for Net exam or enrolled for PhD programme if you are interested for lecturer ship in college otherwise you start hunting the job into creative writing or even you can enter into Journalism industry with the knowledge of strong creative writing and communication skills.

After MA (Eng.) If you don't want to go in teaching field you become Content writer or Writer / Editor many media and publication houses / Advertising agencies are looking for the candidates like you.

Only M.A. (Eco) is not good enough to get a attractive placement you should add professional degree to get good package although based on your MA (Eco.) you can get a job in teaching field as an Assistant Professor after passing the qualifying exam like NET.
