There are other options like CFA which is difficult and costly as well but has very good scope for Finance
There is also actuaries for insurance sector
you can try IBPS exam for job in banking
tally or sap course for accounting
CCRA for job in credit rating agency ICRA

Hi Viky. You just have to submit Xerox copy of your documents. You just have to show them the original documents to verify your admission. Yes you are right that the FINANCE students are given this opportunity to do M.COM. You will be enroll to Pune university and then you will give exams only. You will not been allowed to attend classes.

Hi Viky. Yes the college do provide this facility. But my advice stick with your subject do well in that. Don't try some different stream simultaneously with your PGDM. As Finance is a bit tricky subject.

After M.Com u can look for a job. but if you want to study further then MBA or PhD both can be good. As far as job prospects are concerned, MBA or PhD will help u getting a better paid job. As admissions are on everywhere. u can look for admission in a regular degree.

You should probably start preparing for the entrance tests in case you want to land up with a PSU bank. For private banks, you should decide which domain you want to work in and then prepare yourself
