If you want to open many avenues in the finance sector . I'd suggest pursuing Financial Modelling and Valuation.
You can go through Youtube or Udemy for consuming knowledge on it .
But from what I have heard from my friends in the finance sector. It's always better to get some guidance/mentorship while pursuing this.
I believe some of them did it from IIM Skills. They had only good things to say about it. and if I remember correctly they were helped in getting placed as well. So that's one place you can check!

You need to move beyond finance and accounting roles and gain experience in different functional areas of business, such as, operations, marketing, sales, strategy, and general management. Then you also need to focus on leadership skills like strategic thinking, decision-making, communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and vision and inspiration.

M.Com graduates can join State Bank of India as probationary officer. They can also work as customer relationship executive. They can also join Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited (HEC Ltd) as accounts assistant (Trainee). Corporate secretary and CFO are other work backgrounds in which they can participate.
