Here, I am discussing the better job scope for M.Sc Geography. But, it depends upon you which career is being liked by you among all the mentioned careers. Like, if you are interested in geography, then Cartography- related to maps, Survey, Urban and Regional Planning, Town planning, Geospatial Analyst, Climate Change Analysis, with a starting salary INR 2.35 lacs PA to INR 6.5 LPA, depending on the profile and kind of work. I would say, there is a better scope of M.Sc in Environmental Science, in private or government sector for the environments Science degree holders. You can apply for a research degree in government organization later or may find many lucrative career opportunities in India as well as abroad. Comparatively, Environmental Science will go better.
