Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A. M. S. ) is a professional degree in medicine focused on Ayurveda offered in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and other South Asian countries. It is awarded after the study of five and a half years duration, including 1-year internship.

Universities and colleges generally award Masters of Arts in fields like Languages, History, Geography, Philosophy, Fine Arts, but also Social Sciences, where they overlap with Masters of Science. This means that one subject can be offered either as an M.A. or an M.Sc.

The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc Nursing /B Sc Hons Nursing/Post Basic B.sc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. The candidate should have undergone BSc.

None of the IITs are offering M.Sc in Zoology through JAM. You can go for other institutes. There are many institutes that offers M.Sc in Zoology. If you still want to get into IITs, then you can pursue other courses and take IIT JAM subject accordingly. IIT JAM Exam is conducted in 6 subjects:
Physics
Chemistry
Mathematics
Mathematical Science
Geology
Biotechnology
So, you can choose any one or two subjects but it should be conducted in different sessions. Best of Luck.

M.Tech through distance are not valid for employment and higher study purpose. Hence avoid to pursue this. M.Tech regular part time is the best option for you.
