I am satisfied with my college.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placements in my course. The highest package is 55 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA for AI engineers at NIT Surathkal. The top recruiting companies for our course are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Oracle. 60% of students got internships from companies like Wipro, Infosys, Google, and Amazon. A data scientist role is offered here.
Infrastructure: Everything will be available in college and everything will have good equipment. Labs, classrooms, hostel rooms, and libraries are covered with Wi-Fi. We can get any book we want in the library. The quality of food in the mess is average and in the canteen, it is good. Medical facilities, sports, and games are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are of top class. They are teaching well. The course curriculum is relevant and it is designed perfectly to make students prepared for the industry. Exams are easy if we study and hard if we do not study. The pass percentage is around 75%.
Other: I chose this course because, in the future, AI will have the upper hand. The best thing about this course is we will be able to explore and invent new technology. Every extracurricular activity is good.

In my opinion, it is one of the best colleges in India.
Placements: Last year, 93.78% of students were placed. The highest offer made last year was 78 LPA, the average package was 27.98 LPA, and the lowest package was around 9.87 LPA. The top recruiters are Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Oriental, and Google. Almost 50% of students got internships. The recruiters are NVIDIA, Texas Instruments, and Google. The roles offered are SDE and design engineers, and others.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is good and gives an average speed of around 9-11 Mbps. Other than that, all is good. There are double-sharing rooms for students; 3rd and 4th years get single-sharing rooms. The library is closed on holidays, but the self-study center is open 24/7 for all students. Food is not bad, but don't expect too much as it is not that good. You will live in a 4 BHK unit. There are washrooms in each unit too.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good, helpful, and well-experienced. They also have a very deep knowledge of their respective fields. You always find lecturers available to help you with your studies. The classes and presentations by the lecturers are well-structured and very helpful in many ways. Most lecturers are experienced and have worked in various colleges, mastering their disciplines. As for academics, it follows the modern academic structure provided by the government.

Average satisfaction because of faculty, placement, internships and good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement is not good in the B.Sc. rehabilitation science, psychology, and sociology department; according to my knowledge, there is 0 placement, but other departments like B.Com. and BCA have average placement. Students from abroad join our college too; it's really a good opportunity to explore and learn a lot.
Infrastructure: Honesty, I wish I could give 0 stars. There are CCTV's everywhere, and the library has course books and novels that are very useful. Other than that, nothing is good about this college. I've been to the lab only in the 1st year; after that, they don't take us to the lab, and practical exposure is very poor. There is NO HOSTEL, and the canteen is affordable, and timings have to be followed. The quality of the food is above average. One very good quality of this college is they help students who need help with the midday meal program (school block as well as college block).
Faculty: It depends on the individual lecturers; some are really good and some just take class for the sake of taking class; no proper internship for psychology; for rehabilitation science, an industrial visit; and 2 internships are provided. Semester exams are quite easy; the pass percentage in our department is around 95-97%. If you are a person who totally depends on faculty, then this college isn't for you. Self-study plays an important role in any college.
Other: This course is one of the best courses that has scope abroad as well as in India. This course teaches various aspects of human mind and body; this is a very necessary course for future India. Campus life was amazing; we have many festivals and intercollegiate competitions and sports meets, awareness programs, inclusive education, and lots of volunteer work that is truly enjoyed by students and facilities. The other departments have the best teachers, placements, and internships. As our department is a growing field right now, placement and internship opportunities are a bit less.

Very well-satisfied with my college, staff, teachers, placements, etc.
Placements: 70% of students got placed from our college. The package of placements is around 5 LPA-6 LPA, 8 LPA-9 LPA. The recruiting companies are Capgemini, Ediglobe, Kyndryll, etc., and in these companies, many students also get internships and training and about 60% of them utilize it well.
Infrastructure: My college has many facilities like good Wi-Fi support and well-organized labs. There are 10 labs CS in our college. There are more than 100 classrooms in our college and also a 90,000 books continuing library with well-maintained staffs. Classrooms are well-cleaned. Labs and library are available.
Faculty: About the lecturers, they are knowledgeable and they help you to uplift your skills and their teaching quality is very good. If we come to know regarding exams, it is easier and the passing percentage is 30%. We must attend all compulsory questions properly.
Other: I chose this field because I have an interest in computer science. Computer science nowadays is a very helpful course to join IT companies and work potential to earn a good salary.

Review of NIT Surathkal - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements in the Mining Engineering department are fairly good. From the 2025 pass-out batch, out of 43, about 21 got placed in the private sector including many in data analyst roles, consultancy, core like JSW, Vedanta, and a few in software development roles. The rest around 10 students have a good score in GATE MN paper and are waiting for the government job call. Few others are interested in pursuing higher studies and an MBA. So on average, around 35 have secured placements out of 43.
Infrastructure: There is no problem with the infrastructure availability including high-speed internet or Wi-Fi, on-to-the-point labs, AC classrooms, and one of South India's largest collections of books and e-books in the library. Related to the hostel and mess facility, we have a decent facility here. The 1st year hostels are triple and double sharing, apart from that its single rooms after on.
Faculty: The mining engineering course curriculum is outdated now, but the quality of professors is top-notch. Everyone here is highly intelligent, and depending upon the interest of students the professor shares his knowledge. Semester exams are not difficult but sometimes it becomes hectic but manageable.
Other: I chose this college due to the combination of sports, NIT tag, and good engineering college. It is near to my home. We have South India's second-largest cultural fest Incident.

Review of University Evening College, Mysuru
Placements: Already working people came to this college to complete their graduation. So initially, there were no campus interviews or other placement activities. After B.Com, they could choose an MBA, M.Com, or CA. Digital marketing and freelancing were good future job options for commerce students.
Infrastructure: They conducted sports and cultural events every year, but the canteen was available during my time. During the COVID pandemic, selected people performed in Yuvadasra. Wi-Fi was available in most government colleges. Labs were good, but the toilets were the worst and unhygienic. No action was taken after complaints, which was the saddest part of college life.
Faculty: Of course, every lecturer was friendly with students except Mr. Parashuram, our Kannada lecturer and HOD, who was quite racist. Because of his mistake, I had to rewrite the exam while others passed by the government during the COVID-19 pandemic days (I had submitted my assignment on time).
Other: I already had a commerce background, so I chose B.Com. Many things needed to be changed. Everything was available, but I didn’t apply for anything else because I was too lazy. Moreover, I didn’t want to.
