Yes, you can pursue MBA after B.Sc. Eligibility for MBA in good reputed Universities is approximately 50% marks in your Bachelors degree + you may have to qualify some entrance test and an interview, depending upon the university you choose. You can pursue your MBA in different streams like Information technology, Hospital and Healthcare management, International Business, Tourism and hospitality, Supply chain and logistics, Financial markets, Banking and insurance, E-Commerce or you can go for MBA (HONS) also. So you can choose any of the above mentioned streams according to your interest. There are a number of good universities for MBA in India. St. Xavier College Mumbai offers two year M. Sc. Biotechnology degree programme with an intake of 30 students per year. The programme is structured as a 4-semester credit based system with Continuous Internal Assessment and End semester evaluations.
Selection Process : Admission to the course will be purely merit based in accordance with the marks obtained in Biotechnology at the T.Y.B.Sc. examination.

It is not compulsory. But is the best way to get into M.Sc. IIT JAM is Joint Admission test for M.Sc. It is an entrance test to get admitted in IITs, NITs, or IISc to pursue M.Sc. (Four Semesters), Joint M.Sc-PhD, M.Sc-M.Tech. , M.Sc-PhD Dual Degree & other courses. IIT JAM Exam is conducted in six subjects and candidates can give the exam for maximum of two subjects. But the subjects the candidate chooses must not be conducted in the same session. IIT JAM exam is conducted every year in the month of February. Before taking admission, candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria for their respective institutes. They must first check the eligibility criteria for the institutes. Best of Luck!
