The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing M.Sc Psychology is having a graduation degree in any stream. However, many of the reputed universities demand graduation degree with Honors in Psychology or Psychology as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognized college/university. Some even ask for a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct an entrance examination. The NET is a national level exam, which is conducted for the determination of the candidates for assistant professor posts in the universities and colleges and for the junior research fellowship awards in the research field.
